WizCenter Telephone Banking & Bill Payment

• Banking information may be accessed through a touch-tone telephone
• Customer's identity is established with the selection of a Personal Identification Number (PIN)
• Bill payments may be scheduled as automatically paid or paid only on request
• Telephone access is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• A toll-free number is provided for calls from outside Oahu

Wizard® Automated Teller Machine

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located at most branch offices and at the St. Francis Medical Office Building. For a list of locations, click here.

• Most WIZARD® ATM machines are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; enclosed ATMs are not available during the hours the building is secured
• Basic banking transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, payments, transfers and inquiries are allowed
• Transactions are secured by use of a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that is selected by the cardholder

VISA® Wizcheck Card (Debit Card)

Pay for services or merchandise without using personal checks, cash or charge cards. Your Hawaii National Bank WizCheck Card:
  • Allows your payment to be deducted directly from your checking account
  • Is accepted worldwide, wherever your VISA® credit card is accepted
  • Can be used through the PLUS® System and STARsm networks - POS or ATM terminals

Safe Deposit Boxes

• Safe deposit boxes are available at most branch locations
• Customers may rent these boxes to store important items or documents
• The annual lease rent ($20 to $120) varies with the size of the box
• With an automatic payment arrangement, the annual rent is discounted. Payment can be made automatically from an HNB or other institution deposit account.

Overdraft Protection

• Individuals may link a designated savings account to their checking account to cover unexpected shortages. Funds are transferred in multiples of $100.
• Individuals may also use the Guaranteed Automatic Payment (GAP) account to meet unexpected or emergency cash demands. A GAP account is a separate revolving line of credit linked to the checking account. Funds are transferred in multiples of $100. As the GAP account is repaid, the credit reserve is replenished.

  • GAP Accounts require credit applications and may be subject to fees and finance charges.

Night Depository

• Deposits in locked or sealed bags can be placed in a vault located at each branch office.
• Customers may have branch personnel process the contents of the deposit bag or have the branch hold the bags until called for by an authorized person.

Foreign Currency Transactions

Exchange Items

Additional methods for transferring funds require our customers to complete transactions at a branch location. These exchange items include:
  • Cashier's checks
  • Personal money orders
  • Travelers checks and foreign drafts
  • Wire transfers
  • Foreign currency exchange for U.S. currency
  • The redemption or exchange of savings bonds
U.S. Savings Bonds may be purchased at any branch office.

Direct Deposit

• Hawaii National Bank will credit your direct deposit funds to your account at least one day prior to the effective entry date providing we have received the information from the issuer.
• Providing we have received the information from the government, most Social Security recipients with direct deposit will be credited up to two business days prior to the effective entry date.

Automatic Transfer

• Make scheduled transfers between your accounts at Hawaii National Bank
• Debit your account at any other financial institution and automatically credit your loan or deposit account with Hawaii National Bank
